I get it …
most of us have spent the majority of our lives being told we need to look a certain way to be “acceptable” in society’s standards.
I’m a millennial, I grew up in the heroin-chic, Next Top Model era, being teased by boys and girls alike for being ‘fat’, always seeing my peers on crash diets, trying to go on these diets myself. Shit the 90’s and 00’s have a lot to answer for, huh?
All these feelings will be left at the door when you shoot with me. We will laugh, we will get into weird positions, I will tell you what to do with your hands - don’t worry! And then you will be in awe when you see your gallery.

IN ALL OF MY BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY PACKAGES
a pre-shoot meet & greet with wardrobe try on
not many people like a blind date, especially one where you get so vulnerable on your first one, so we break the ice first by having a chat about what to expect, getting to know each other and seeing that I am just a human being too :) and of course the exciting part - trying on items from the extensive wardrobe collection. I have a large range of styles, sizes and many accessories. Of course, you can BYO too.
same day reveal with celebratory refreshments
after we wrap, you can hang and scroll the gram, watch LoTR (though maybe not that exactly as I will get distracted and want to watch too), or go off and get some food. After about 60-90 minutes, I will have your gallery ready to show you, after handing you another drink, where the first words out of your mouth will usually be “is that really me?!”. You can bring a friend or partner to this part - I can say they usually aren’t much help in deciding though as usually they are drooling over the pics more than you are.
professional hair and makeup
it’s all part of the experience - you want to feel pampered, relaxed and what better than our first point of contact, Tracey, to make you feel at ease. Tracey brings over 8 years experience and is such a lovely soul. You will adore her.

everyone has a hard time choosing what lingerie to wear so I give you options!

I have over 10 years experience in posing - you’re in good hands - and I will be showing you what to do, don’t worry, I’ll be rolling on the floor with you!

cute! Some like to give this to their other half to keep in their wallet ;)

you won’t be seeing any manky-badly-lit-face-half-sneeze images around here … well, maybe the sneeze one because we like to have a laugh. I make sure I cull out all the less than perfect pics and then edit to show you at all your best glory.

What’s holding you back, babe?
Waiting to be the ‘perfect size’ ? Waiting for your confidence to grow? Just don’t feel ‘ready’ ?
I can tell you after shooting with hundreds of women (no joke, 2023 alone I had the privilege of working with 136 people!), barely anyone is fully ‘ready’. They still have nerves, they still feel like they could continue to wait.
But as I say to many, reaching out is the hardest part! That’s the part where you are most vulnerable, you’ve decided to step outside your comfort zone. And so many who see me think they are the exception for this, when it’s absolutely the opposite - this is outside of most people’s comfort zones! Even people who have done many shoots with many people over the years, still feel a bit nervous.
The first question I ask you when you step in the studio is “how are you feeling” and the answer is ALWAYS “nervous! but excited!”

“In my mid-40s and not feeling like my best self, never did I ever think I'd participate in a boudoir shoot, let alone actually love the results. When I decided to book the shoot, I felt incredibly self-conscious and nervous, not knowing what to expect, but from the moment I arrived at Katie's studio, that all just melted away.
Katie's relaxed but professional attitude made me feel completely at ease. Her experience speaks for itself in the way that she guides you through the shoot, so that you are not left posing awkwardly and feeling like you have no idea what you're doing. Everything felt natural and comfortable and we shared a good few laughs.
